Your most important questions are...

Are you licensed?
Yes! California State License Number #84691 We have a real office with a real commercial address. We aren't your best friend's second cousin working out of his parent's garage.

What models do you repair? Quite simply, every model in existence. We have and do work on them all! Even Macs!

How much does it cost? It varies depending on the problem and model.

When will I get my laptop back? Typical turnaround time in the shop is 1 to 3 days.  Systems using hard to find parts may take up to two weeks.

What is your warranty?  Parts are warrantied for 1 Year unless otherwise specified.   Jack repairs are warrantied for 90 days.  Once your computer leaves our shop it's out of our hands what happens to it. We'll make sure it's working fine here but once the grandkids get  hold of it and pound it into oblivion or the next door neighbor loads it up with porn and viruses then we'll charge you to fix it again.   Unless we feel really sorry for you, which we might. Sometimes. :)

How long have you been in business?
3 Years.

Do you service iMacs?
Yes.   Prices are more though than for PCs.

Are your repairs warrantied?
Jack repairs are warrantied for 90 days.   Repeated physical damage is not covered however.   All other parts are warrantied for 1 year.

Do you repair the thingy on the back where the power goes in?
Yes.   That's the DC Power Jack.

No.   We will install upgrades for you.

Can you get data off of a computer that "Doesn't turn on"?
Yes. In most cases.

Do you buy old computers?
No.

Do you sell old computers?
Almost never.   Most used computers are like used cars. Money pits.

Do you know anyone who does?
No.   Donate them to goodwill.   We can take the hard drives out for you so you don't risk compromising your data.   Otherwise, just take a sledgehammer to it and toss it in the garbage.   A drill bit works well also.

Do you remove passwords?
Not as a service.   In the course of working on a system though that has come in for other problems we may remove a password to make our repair easier.   We will not remove a password though as the sole repair request due to liability concerns.

Any special order parts are to be paid in full at time of order.   Balance of repair cost may be paid upon pickup.   We do not offer lines of credit to individuals or businesses and require ALL payments due to be made upon receipt of completed service.
